Depends if you have any reeds that work! I don't usually work on reeds during a concert, but sometimes you have to. It is different with clarinet reeds (I do play clarinet).
I'm sure your oboist was hurrying as fast as he could to get you that "A", I must say it is often the most stressful part of a concert!
