I see that on my students' Fox oboes frequently. The plastic (polypropolene?) body attracts dust and grime which can make the cork pad stick. Try holding your key open, take a folded $ bill, slip it under and close the key. Then slide the bill out a few times. Sometimes that is all you need. Sometimes not.
