Thank you for the feedback. The piece is modern. The time signature is 4/4 and the runs are chromatic and/or straight scale runs starting with a triple then two sets of sixtets. My problem is the key they are in - very little exposure. Soooo, all the feedback on practicing scales, backwards and forwards, forms my new exercise routine! I am improving and have a month to get the speed where it needs to be. The other woodwinds (flutes especially) are a little out of sorts about the key signature (thank goodness I'm not the only one). On the bright side, I will be a better player for it.
