As for keys, there's two things I had to train myself:

1. Get the key into my ear.
2. Get the fingerings into my fingers.

1. is solved by just playing scales, but 2. is not just learning the scales and playing them up and down and up and down, but rather patterns. Arppeggios, thirds, 7th chords all help.

For example, Ab major 3rds

Ab-C-Bb-Db-C-Eb-Db-F-Eb-G-F-Bb-Ab, going all the way up to high Eb (3 ledger lines) and as low as Bb. Practice them slowly day by day and build up speed.

Another pattern
Ab-Bb-C-Bb Ab-Bb-C-Db Bb-C-Db-C Bb-C-Db-Eb C-Db-Eb-Db C-Db-Eb-F etc. up to high Eb or F and down again.

I do the 2nd pattern every day on at least two scales, making sure I can play it at 110 or so.

As for the sexteplets, one person told me to think of words. For example, my accompanist who I was performing with at the time was homosexual, and we were talking about the slow mvt of Brahms 3. He suggested me to think of the word "Homosexual" for the beat which gets 5 notes for it (C-D-C-Bnat-C). He went on to suggest sexteplets as "It's homosexual". I guess you can pick another 5-syllable word to use, but it always stuck in my mind. Try singing your part while saying "It's homosexual" on your sextets. It might help.
