I'm guessing that it's not a "key signature" issue, but an "accidental" issue. Are they note clusters like on this page? Are you talking about a pattern that is written-out ornamentation, where what you have is basically a central note with accidentals above and below it?

Try thinking of the sextuplets as 1-and-2-and-3-and. Then after that it's just a matter of practice.

What time period is your cantata from? Is it Bach, or John Peterson?
