When you start having trouble on things that used to be fine, you should at least check for hardware problems.

The C key (between the left index and middle figner keys) is normally held closed by the left index finger key and the right index finger key. When you lower your right index finger for the C, a connecting piece rises and the C key is opened by a spring.

If the C key sticks to the rim, or the spring is weak or off its nib, the key rises slowly, creating a "blurp" between the notes.

Finger third line B, hold the instrument horozontally so you can see what's happening, and slowly press the right index finger key. If you see any delay or sluggishness in the rising of the C key, that's the problem.

Check whether the spring is properly set. If it is, put a small piece of paper under the C pad, press down on the pad with your finger and pull the paper out. This will clean off any crud.
