Just a casual survey.
I've spent a few days learning some newer things about what is available in the web-wold today.
Funny, after nearly 25 years in corporate IT work, as programmer, manager, etc., it is really easy to lose track of all the neat tricks and sometimes free tricks current technology offers.
My question to fellow bboarders is how are you able to deal with it?
Please respond to the following with yes/no:
1) I can use a recording systems or freeware such as Audacity.
Audacity records or allows you to apply an mp3 file and play it back at pitch with slower or faster tempo settings.
2) I can take a youtube video and rip out just the audio into an mp3 file.
Freeware supported on Firefox and Chrome provide this ability.
3) I can play a midi file and control it to my satisfaction.
I can change tempo, assign instruments, etc.
4) I still need access to a source where I can find audio for play-back and in differing tempos to support learning w/o rushing.
5) I would prefer to get up to speed and learn to do this for myself.
Fun world, great time to be alive with the technology...
