Robin, i am not familiar with the Nagamatsu but the RC12 does give a lot of stability which i like.
Bart's way of playing requires no "embouchure" so to say. The Dutch style, new (ala Bart) and old (ala Han de Vries) has always been quite similar to the American style in terms of principals in playing. Thus the reeds are constructed to work in the same manner but everything ends from there on because the musical aesthetics are different. The vibrato, the way of phrasing, the emphasis on the "singing" style etc. Robin, i don't think these reeds would suit you. They are "soft" in character and requires a lot of hard work to get a big sound. The low register of these reeds are in general weak unless the cane is good, and because of the lack of teaching material in how to make this type of reeds, it loses out a little in the music scene. But it is a truly unique way of playing the oboe!
