Thanks for the correction and the super information!
How you describe the RC12 sounds like one could say "triangular from bottom to top". If this is true, it's very much like the Nagamatsu, which I can't stand in the least.

For Lorées, I used my short-scrape reeds on year 2000+ and 1970's (& older) Lorées: they were fine and the instruments played quite nicely! I prefer the Howarth or Strasser because of the way they accept my air pressure, but in terms of tuning and stability, Lorée + short scrape is fine.
