Mary, did you ever get a date on your C 29 Jarde?

I played -- and really liked -- one as a loaner this summer. It was more like my beloved Covey than some other Coveys. I need to find out the serial number of that one, but I suspect it was from the late 1950s, judging from the vintage of its owner. I also know someone else who has one, which also was impressive in sound -- need to see if I can contact her. I just bought one in the D series. Would love to be able to date these! Keep your fingers crossed that mine is another real good ol' oboe!

Susan
