no no no no no....
Why those pieces? Why make it so difficult for yourself when the panel did not set these pieces as compulsory?
Take now easy easy easy music. When you play something simple so enormously beautiful, people are immediately taken by it. On the other hand, when you play something familiar AND difficult (fact that the director is an oboist makes things worst actually...) but do not execute it "perfectly", it leaves no strong impression. The pieces you have at hand are of good quality, of course, but non really has long lyrical melodies too, something which in my opinion is very important for an oboist to showcase. After all, people remember that, and Britten and Silvestrini too, but "normal" people remember the good tunes =). Perhaps take the Telemann OR Britten (yes Telemann could take your breath away...) and add a piece of lyrical music with simple piano accompaniment, e.g. Faure's Pièce or even something much simpler like a slow etude from Hinke or Ferling.
But of course if that is what you are prepared to go with, and you don't have much to push into what you have at the moment, just do it, i am sure you are more ready than you think!
Regards,
Howard
