Oboists and personality

I know I may open a can of worms here...but I am interested to know if anyone has certain opinions on this...

It has reached the time of the year where I recommend which of my primary school flute students might be viable for switching to another instrument. Some (like I was at their age) are serious about staying on flute - and you definitely need those kids! But I don't just look at a student's musical ability to decide whether they should switch, but their personality as well.

I guess the roles of certain instruments and the certain qualities about each instrument suit some students better than others. But I am interested to hear what everyone else thinks the 'ideal' or even 'typical' oboe personality is.
