Thankyou all for your advice, very useful. I will certainly buy a cotton swab. I once got a small bit of cigarette paper stuck in the tonehole (the paper was so wet that it dislodged into the hole), and it affected one of the notes. After some worrying times, I did a close examination with a torch and found the culprit. I was so relief then.
