Yes, as Howard says, the LH G#+Eb technique is a very individual thing; some people take to it very quickly, while for others it neve feels right. I use it all the time, but I know it is not for everyone. Also the ergonomics of your instrument plays a big part - if the keys are too far apart or too strongly sprung it can be very hard to operate. Like Robin I have big, powerful hands, so this has never posed a problem.
