For the past half year, I've practicing "pattern scales"... easier to write-down than explain: they are probably in some method book, but I just wing them... anyway, I use the simultaneous Eb-G# so much now that I almost never touch one without the other. I wonder how that would work on instruments where the Eb key is over the stem of the G# key?
