John Peterson is the repairman at RDG woodwinds and is a master when it comes to custom keywork. You only need to look at his website and pictures of some keywork he did for a man who lost most of his right hand to be amazed at his creativity and handiwork.

One of the custom jobs he frequently does is the low C for the right hand thumb. One of my colleagues has it and it looks as clean as a whistle.

On a side note, I've heard multiple oboists say that his oboe is the finest american made oboe they've ever played.
