 unusual key
Author: kimber

On my recent surfing of the 'popular auction site,' I came across pictures of a Cabart oboe J147 with what appears to be an extra backside key. It is shaped like an up-side down back octave key, but it is on the middle joint. Besides wondering how exactly one would move their thumb off the rest to play the key...just curious what it might do.

Any ideas?
