Is this from warpage? Sounds like there's too much space between post to post, which would probably be caused from moisture/humidity differences. I know Buffets are supposed to be super stable but I've still heard of them cracking and what not.

Also, check the cork underneath the lever that connects to the right hand ring key. Sometimes if it's worn down the wrong way or if humidity has fluffed it up too much, it can hinder the right hand ring finger key. Sometimes sanding it with a nail file just a hair does the trick.
