You need to have a repair person who knows Greenling Buffets oboes to adjust the diamond.

I had my diamond adjusted - to facilitate the Eb - I was able to do this -since my Octave D was very centered and stable with good attributes. In this case I took a piece of the D and gave it to the Eb. I believe (to the best of my recollection) the repair person actually made the diamond smaller witht the use of some wax.

On another note- I had to adjust my reeds for the Mariguax: Different staples length - and scrape - ................... The Buffect may require a different approach too.

It has taken me a couple of months to fine tune my transition to a new oboe and brand. Loree oboes have their own attributes .......................
