 Oh sure! Please forgive me if I implied that the Laubin was very inflexible, I merely meant that in comparison that it was "less flexible" than a Loree, and whether that is a good thing or a bad thing depends on the player. 
 
Please also forgive me if I implied you can't get a huge sound out of it, or that it didn't project. In fact the Laubin at Weber Reeds that I specified that I liked in particular is because it has a lot of "ring" in the sound and is quite lively. For me, particularly on regular bore Lorees, I can always feel like I can give "a little bit more" and get "a little more back in return" (I don't always feel this way about Royals, but that's a different story). Meanwhile, I feel like there's a certain cap that I can't going beyond on Laubins. Perhaps it's just the way I use my air though.
