If you haven't got a good knife sharpening technique under your belt (i.e. some days you can get your knife very sharp, and some days it's a butter knife) then I wouldn't bother getting an expensive knife. The qualities that they possess would never get used, if there was inadequate sharpening. Landwell sells student knives (these are actually good knives- they have been reground and sometimes have minor defects that don't affect the functionality of the knife) for about 30$ canadian. An excellent knife to start with.
If you have a grasp on sharpening, I recommend only Landwells...for now. I haven't found any other knife that can parallel in quality. Their knife can take to really fine sharpening, and you will thus be able to scrape the tips of your reeds freakishly thin- which is what we want. Some other knifes feel "sharp" but really the bur that they have is just sawtooth, and gritty.
Find a good teacher near you, or ever better call Daryl Caswell directly at Landwell reed knives, order one of their student knives, and ask him on the best sharpening stones to use. He will most like recommend a 1000 grit water stone that has never been cleaned. (yes- not cleaned- the bits from the metal actually create a slurry, making the stone smoother, and sucking the blade onto the stone. This works fabulously)
Good luck
