Ha! I wanted to ask the same question! I LOVE the analogy! I tell beginer students that embouchure is kind of like giving a "reversed kiss" (meaning same lip position, except inside your mouth... anyway, it sounds better when I explain it in french, but you probably get what I mean).
That said, I absolutely love your milkshake analogy!
