If you can switch early to give yourself time to warm up the cor playing 2nd oboe parts, then certainly that if it offers more confidence and preparation for an imminent cor solo - I doubt anyone will notice.
And a lot of low 2nd oboe parts that start with the dreaded pp low C#/Db can be played on cor if you're having a tough time with your oboe reed on that day for whatever reason your reeds choose their best moment not to work.
