I would say maybe play around with the tension of your wraps. Sometimes if I pull too hard it creates an uneven wrap and consequently leaks. I would really try to find out what shape your cane is and then start at 73mm (assuming 47mm tubes) and move up and down according to what it needs. Make sure also that you aren't tying past the tube.
