2. You check your embouchure and make sure you are properly supporting the reed with your mouth, but NOT BITING. This means if you leave teeth marks in the inside of your lips, you are doing something wrong. Some ways to raise the pitch with your embouchure including bringing the corners of your mouth back, rolling the lower lip (with the reed stuck on it) inward. When you roll the reed in, your lower lip should go in with it. Furthermore, if you think vowel sounds such as "EEE", it should raise the back of your palette and raise the pitch.
3. You make sure you are properly supporting with your air.
4. You check your reeds to make sure they are 68.5-70.5millimeters long. No shorter than 68.5, no longer than 70.5.
