If you have a thumb rest which can be adjusted, you might find that a position higher up the instrument helps you place your long ring finger more comfortably on the key. Also, you can experiment with adding thickness to the oboe diamenter there with the use of something like the "Dutch" thumb rest, as that might also help you with positioning your finger.
