You'd be amazed the things that find their way into these places. We tend to assume that 'everyone' must surely know the difference between a Buffet and a bright pink 'Shanghai special', a Loree and a piece of black pipe etc, but most people don't have a clue.
If you go to the Instrument stores on Ebay, they obviously know their job. However, there are more general stores where they sell hundreds of items, with the odd instrument occasionally appearing. Very often, they don't know the real worth - or they can't be bothered to find out.
If you keep your eyes open, whether on the net or in the street, you can find the most amazing bargains.
