I've never heard of Buisson oboes, but that doesn't mean anything.
Checking with Google, I find used Buisson oboes for sale on the Internet at several used woodwind dealers' websites other than the Unmentionable Auction Site, all in the UK or Europe, all of them listing it at between £200 and about £275. So apparently it's not a complete piece-of-trash student oboe, or else online woodwind dealers wouldn't be bothering with it, IMO.
ETA: I also ran across a reference to a test.woodwind.clarinet BBoard thread concerning "Buisson" clarinets, and a quick Search of their archives reveals that yes, indeed, apparently someone named "Buisson" did/does make clarinets. (A Search for "buisson" here in our archives came up blank.) So maybe you might go over there and ask them whether he made oboes, too.
