And I thought it was for the simple reason that Loree Royals play well in G minor, seeing they're the best oboes in the world that all oboists play on, and all other oboe makers should just give up now as they're all clearly inferior and shouldn't bother trying to compete as no-one buys anything other than Loree.

My kingwood Howarth S5 is clearly destined for firewood when winter draws in, shame really as it plays very well in G minor, though obviously not as well as THE top make does. Let's hope it burns well in G minor too!
