I have a Marigaux 930 cor which I chose over the others (Howarth S5 included) as it had the least resistance and a nice thick tone - works well with hard reeds and duff ones - very forgiving if your reed isn't exactly brilliant!

But had the Howarth XL cor been available at the time I'd have probably gone for one of these, since I've finished several XL cors and play-tested them I found they are certainly a force to be reckoned with, but I've stuck with my Marigaux cor.

The opinions I express are my own.
