... when i started, it wasn't

... yes, it's easier to do scales now
... when i started, scales were too difficult

... yes, i can manage 8ths at 120 in oboe friendly keys now
... when i started, it was totally impossible

... my mind blurs at 16ths, it's too difficult, but i've started ...

so it all depends on getting started, being helped by an oboe teacher, practising lots, progressing, get better, gets easier, yes?
