My old teacher used canned air to blow out the octave keys.

I remember there being a thread on the IDRS at that time about how to use Rain-X to keep octave keys from clogging which I shared with her, but she thought that was just crazy... and went on with the canned air.

I'll have to find that rain-X article... Ah! still in my e-mail.
