Two choices:
One - Find a way to be happy with those dozen or so decent reeds you already have.
Two - Be unsatisfied and keep looking for that "perfect" reed.
I have concluded that the "perfect" reed is in my head, not in this world, ... And I chose one. And found happiness with those decent reeds, some make things easier for me in one way or another. Some of the best reeds I ever had were always in the past.
