I have looked up the fees at several European conservatories and saw, for example, that the fee for a US citizen is about 3 times higher than the fee for an EU citizen. However, even this international fee is about 10 times less than the fee at US music conservatories, so I'd consider them a bargain. If my daughter does decide to attend a European conservatory, I assume I'll have to pay the full international fee, even if she is applying for citizenship in an EU country. It's the work afterwards that I wonder about, if it would be easier to wrok as a full-time musician in Europe than in the United States. She does not want to teach, at least not right away.
