The Julliard School tone - quite homogenous - it is exemplified by the Loree Royal tone -which to my ear us quite "covered". It is a dark - creamy tone and it is also - a generic sound which does blend in well; - although, I feel it lacks the artistic fervor you hear from European players - .... their sounds have great personalities, color and vibrancy.
