... interesting comments Montreal, thanks, especially the warmup routine taking so much longer to get ready for really playing, i've noticed it takes about 45 minutes too, i thought it was languid me ...
... also yes, hot weather playing sounds better when in "hammock mood" (swingily relaxed and openly comfortable) ... a frosty cider helps ... cheers!
... keeping the reeds wet enough really is so-o-o true in hot weather, they seem to air-dry right in the mouth from the blast of dragon fire from one's own lungs ... even one's spit evaporates along with it ...
... as for sluggish to get started, during hot weather i've noticed it's harder and harder work to maintain air pressure as time moves on, so opening fanfare sffz's dim nicely into excellent ppp's within the hour ... curious, cider repeat doesn't do a thing to help fix this phenom
