Read the article, but I'm not personally ready for this skill yet, still building up my core muscles to increase my general decibel capacity
This technique seems to apply to instruments that allow greater volumes of air out during normal playing, which isn't true for oboe. Oboe holds back air which builds up carbon dioxide levels, so we have to let that out ... although the circular breathing thing reads like it would refresh air supply ...
somehow, though, chipmunk cheeks don't seem to match oboe player image! ....
