A couple of years ago, Craig Matovich (oboist with Oxymora, a jazz/world music group that is awesome) brought me two of his as a thank-you gift for my helping him find a new Covey. They were exactly as you describe. I wish they would have lasted forever. Drew (oboedrew) makes some pretty good reeds like this, too. And Graham Reeds (Google it) also are along these lines. Susan
