Hi,
I will be receiving 4 oboes for trial this week: two marigauxs - m2 and 901, yamaha 841, and a fossati artiste.
Although, I know that the previous post addresses some information - I would appreciate some more details about players experiences with these instruments.
The M2 is of particular interest since it is expensive and of a different design. My repair person commented that if the middle section cracks it could be a very expensive problem!
All comments welcome ...................... I realize that of course - lots of this discussion is personal preference. However, hard - factual information is always helpful.
