I would like to think that I had the creativity to 'copy' several very different styles from Ledet's book on various oboist's reed scrapes. But I find myself returning to the longer scrapes after one or two other attempts.

I have never managed to get used to the thick rails (side edges) that are presently used so widely. So have fun experimenting out there!

PS thanks Cooper for the pictures, and the description of the 'plateau' technique.
