He's got it marked dotted half = 76, and it says Minuet Allegro, but dotted half of 76 would be quarter note of 228, wouldn't it? Which is Prestissimo, not Allegro. Or am I missing something here?
Having trouble figuring out how fast I'm supposed to be playing it. Normally I think of "minuet" as a more graceful speed, something you could perform a minuet to. I've put the accompaniment into Music Masterworks so as to play along with it, and playing it back at 120 Allegro sounds more like what I'd expect.
The IDRS recording takes it at the bat-outta-hell 228 Prestissimo, which is understandable as it's only a Finale midi file, not an actual person playing, and with Finale you can tell it to play as fast as you want.
