Yes the problem is that it doesn't close completely; I'll take it in as he said he'd be happy to fix any thing that cropped up after I took it home and played it for awhile.
It is old and hadn't seen an adjustment for quite some time so I'm not surprised that something would come up after his initial cleaning and adjustment. I just hope it's not an ongoing thing. Like my car.
Keeping my finger on the G key; that's definitely my problem. And the more I play I realize that there's times that neither the D or Eb sound in both low and middle range (I am assiduously avoiding the higher range) so I am going to get an instructor to see what other keys I might be missing.
Really liking the Weait book going slowly through the first few pages; articulation breath control, finger agility; it's all there.jhoyla wrote:
