i've read a lot of things about vibrato on here, and i am in need of some quick help. we had a clinician in our high school band last saturday and i got hounded for not producing vibrato. i tried as much as i could, no matter what i did, no one could hear it but me. i have a big english horn solo in fiesta del pacifico that requires a lot of vibrato and dynamics. i just discovered that i can't do both at the same time anymore. i've tried doing one without the other, then mixing them, but it just doesn't sound right anymore. i need to perfect this before next week. i used to be fairly decent at producing vibrato and dynamics, i just don't know what happened. normally i would talk to my teacher about this, but i wasn't able to go to a lesson after the clinic and my next lesson is wednesday. can anyone help me with my problem please?
