No, I'm suggesting that you sight read in the clef that you're having trouble with; sight reading a different clef will only help you with that clef.
I have lots of music lying around....it doesn't have to be for your current instrument; like, I could use trumpet music to sight read oboe parts, and just pretend it's oboe music. If you have bass clef music lying around and you could mentally paste a treble clef on top of the bass clef and read it "as if" it were oboe music, that would work too. The key thing is you have to know what is the right note to come out of the instrument, that is, know the fingerings. With oboe, basically either the note is going to come out or it's not....not like a brass instrument where you can be off by a minor third and not realize it for a while.
