Watched it, didn't notice any finger flubs or flatness. What I *did* notice was, first, the extraordinary attentiveness of the audience. I didn't see a single dark-suited businessman who looked as though he was there only to impress his boss.
And second, the woman with blonde hair who was sitting there crying.
And yanno, I was sitting here crying, too. Probably for the same reason she was. Because of what it was, and because of what was happening. Whole wheelbarrowloads of some very complex subtext there.
Bother the nitpicks about tone color and finger flubs. This was history. And it was absolutely beautiful.

IMO an event that makes people weep doesn't count as obscenity.
