I have developed over a few months' time a nasty and puzzling problem with my EH. On middle c#, I get a stuttering of air that feels like some piece of debris flapping around somewhere! it is awful; it also occurs to a more limited extent on C and B. I don't think it's the reeds, since it does it with all of my reeds, nor do I think it's the bocal, since I used both my Fox and Lickman bocals and got the same thing.
I also stopped up each joint at the end and lifted one finger at time, blowing through to see if anything really was stuck in there (like my earlier post on turkey feathers!). No luck.
What could this be? I have an audition in a few weeks and this horn is pretty much unplayable at this point. Any ideas?
Thanks!
