Greetings to everybody!
I'm in the process of purchasing a professional oboe for my son. He has been playing oboe for several years. He is in college now. It's really time to get him a nice oboe.
I live in the northeast Texas area. I'm having a hard time to find an instrument store that stocks a decent number of oboes. The few local stores either has only 1 used oboe or none at all! Does anybody know any good oboe dealer in the TX, OK, AR area? I don't mind driving a few hours or a day. I'd like to let my son try a few oboes and pick one that is most suitable to him.
