 Question for players in the EU

I am considering applying to get my daughter citizenship in a country which is in the European Union. We are US citizens living in the US, and my 16-year old daughter wants to be a professional musician. I often hear that work is easier to find in Europe. Without getting into details, I can apply for citizenship in this country and for my children due to my father's status. My daughter could have dual citizenship.

For those of you who have worked in both the US and Europe, is there a very real difference? In addition to oboe, my daughter plays multiple woodwinds and could conceivably be well qualified to play the musicals in London (athough I know those kinds of jobs are obtained through contacts).

We are considering having her study in Europe as well. Let's assume that's she plays well enough to be admitted to the top conservatories in the US on oboe.
