From my experience, jhoyla is on the right track. I often have had reeds which revealed adjustment problems in my instruments, while other reeds would play well despite the mis-adjustments. In addition to the forked F resonance key adjustment which jhoyla references, take a look at whether the bridge over the top and middle joints and pressing down on the G# pad is the problem. If the screw is too tight, the right hand index finger key will not close securely. And of course, any problems in the adjustments in the top joint can be reflected on lower notes. The possible problem in the reed which is exposing the adjustment issue might be helped by 'relatively' thickening the heart and center of the tip by thinning the sides of the tip and the windows behind the heart.
