And I'm here in Northern Michigan, at BAND CAMP (Interlochen!). It was beastly the first day we wre here, and the residence hall is like a sauna. But the last two days (especially today) have been lovely.
Having a great time, wish you all were here. And Craig, just in case you were wondering, whatever it was you taught me about tone production, has taken hold, and then some. The feedback I am getting is blowing me away -- no more director's hand in the face. Ta-da! I'm the oboe soloist for the week! Fun, gratifying, and again, I'm SO SO grateful to you for your help.
